The Marketplace

What Is the Marketplace?

Marketplace options include used books from vetted third-party and independent booksellers, ensuring quality, reliability, and good service. These listings are presented alongside standard new and used book inventories, offering customers a wider range of purchasing choices at competitive prices.

When you browse Marketplace listings, you’ll notice:

  • Condition Details: Sellers indicate the book’s condition (e.g., Like New, Good, Acceptable).
  • Shipping Location: Buyers can see where the book is being shipped from.
  • Seller Notes: You might find extra information about the book or its packaging.
  • Shipping: Some sellers may not provide tracking numbers.

Important Notes on Marketplace Orders

  • Shipping: Books come directly from the individual seller.
  • Returns: All Marketplace purchases cannot be returned.
  • Shipping Costs: These items are not eligible for free shipping.
  • Post-Purchase Inquiries: For any questions or concerns after your purchase, please reach out to: sellers@alibris.com.
